Meera Chopra, cousin of the sci-fi flick’s leading lady Priyanka Chopra, has lost her debut film opposite the Saathiya actor.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan found a new boyfriend, married him and even had his baby, but Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi’s fight over her is yet to end. Their feud is one of the few B-town battles that has lasted a long time. And from what we hear, there is no chance of it ending any time soon. Instead, it has claimed another innocent victim: Meera Chopra.
Meera is the cousin of Priyanka Chopra and was slated to make her Bollywood debut in the Vivek-Sanjay Dutt-starrer Sher, to be directed by Soham Shah. But a couple of days ago, she was summarily told that she was no longer a part of the project. Why? ’Coz she is close friends with Salman and Vivek allegedly did not want to work with someone who likes his enemy. Makes sense but hey, didn’t he know she was Sallu’s friend before she was signed on?
Vivek’s camp members claim he isn’t even aware that this is the excuse the makers have given to Meera.
Worth pondering, don’t you think? Looks like someone out there is deliberately trying to fan the flames of enmity. And cause more problems for Vivek with his Krrish 3 co-star Priyanka.
If the li’l birdies are right, it shouldn’t really affect Piggy Chops, as she is not on good terms with Meera anyway. But Piggy is quite passionate about her family – she loves Parineeti Chopra! – and you never know if this incident will wake up her latent feelings. It will be a good thing if it does.
It will add just that extra edge to her performance –and she needs it if she doesn’t want to repeat her Krrish sleepwalking act –and make it more convincing when she faces off with Vivek’s villainous character in Krrish 3. Don’t you think?
