Good news for the fans of pretty faced actress Prachi Desai, whom unfortunately we haven’t seen on big screen after her demure act in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. However this year she is set to surprise her fans as with her roles in Bol Bachchan and Teri Meri Kahaani.
And as per the latest news, she has been roped in to play the lead in K S Ravikumar’s Hindi version of Saamy.
Earlier she might have missed out on the opportunity to star in a Tamil film but now she has made up for it. The actress has been roped in to play the lead in Kollywood director K S Ravikumar’s first Bollywood venture. The film, which stars Sanjay Dutt and Prakash Raj, is partly based on the Vikram-starrer Saamy.
Confirming the news, Ravikumar says, “Yes, we’ve roped in Prachi Desai for the character essayed by Trisha. But, several changes have been incorporated in the Hindi script, and the actress will be seen in an entirely new avatar. The film is scheduled to go on floors on July 15. The first schedule will either be shot in Mumbai or Hyderabad.”
