The day closed with Nickie Nina’s collection for PFDC L’Oréal Paris Bridal Week 2012 titled ‘Baroque’ – inspired by the 17th century European vintage artistic style.
With fabrics such as pure silk, chiffon, jamawar and velvet, Nickie Nina’s couture craftsmanship was manifest in the ‘Baroque’ collection with antique gold hand embellishment and colourful threadwork with cuts from the ‘traditional-eastern-meets-western-period’. Nickie Nina had engaged a diverse range of colours from cerulean, sea-green, deep plum to lemon yellow and beige for ‘Baroque’.
