Procedure to make Special Chicken Biryani

For making Chicken Biryani at home, you have to follow the simple procedure. There are three basic steps for making it.

Ingredients

For making chicken
  • Oil, three tbsp
  • Saturated ghee, one tbsp
  • Curry leaves and whole spices, as per taste
  • Peeled potatoes, three to four
For marination of the chicken
  • Chicken, one kg
  • Yogurt, two tbsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste, one tbsp
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Turmeric powder, half tsp
  • Red chili powder, half tsp
  • Fried onions, one bowl
  • Tomatoes, chopped one bowl
  • Water, as require
For making rice
  • Oil, as require
  • Whole spice powder, one tbsp
  • Water, as require
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Soaked rice, one kg
  • Food colour
Procedure
  1. In the first step for the marination of the chicken, take a large mixing bowl.
  2. Now, add all in the ingredients in the mixing bowl which are used for the marination.
  3. Then, take a whisk and mix the evenly to make a smooth paste.
  4. After that, add chicken in the bowl and marinate for two hours.
  5. Let the potatoes cook till they become light golden or brown.
  6. Now, take a cooking pot for boiling the rice and add cumin seed, salt and black cloves and bring the water to boil.
  7. After boiling the water, add half kg soaked rice and partially boil them and strain.
  8. Now, take another cooking pot and add oil in it.
  9. Then, fry marinated chicken on high flame for two to three minutes.
  10. Now, add all the ingredients in the cooking pot and fry them until chicken becomes tender.
  11. In the last, pour boiled rice, fried onion, saffron mixture, Kewra essence and food color over rice and cook for five minutes on a low flame.

Garnish Ramadan Special Chicken Biryani with boiled eggs and chopped coriander.
