Last month, Lanvin announced that the design house would be launching a childrenswear collection this Fall, and today a lookbook full of happy little girls in miniature organza and tulle concoctions was released. The 25-piece collection features dresses, separates and accessories, including necklaces and shoes, for girls aged 4 to 10. Elbaz has even designed four ragdolls, who are also lucky enough to be dressed in the collection.
No word yet on price points, but if they’re even a fraction of the price tags of the brand’s ready-to-wear, my son won’t be wearing Lanvin anytime soon. Yes, he’s a boy and the collection is for girls, but you get my point – too rich for our blood. That doesn’t mean, though, that I can’t appreciate these adorable images of beaming little girls jumping and prancing around in Lanvin, because I do – so cute! But I’m also just a wee bit jealous of them and their fancy Alber Elbaz-designed frocks.
