Fruit Kheer with Custard

Ingredients:Rice – 3 tbsp (soaked in water)Sugar – to tasteMilk – 1 litreDry fruits – as requiredVanilla custard – 3 to 4 tbspSaffron – ¼ tspFresh cream – ¼ cup (lightly beaten)Fruit cocktail – 1 tin (drained)Apple – 1Banana – 4Grapes – 250gCherries – 5Butter – 1 tbsp

Method:Take a pan and put milk and cook until evaporates, then add soaked rice and cook till the ricedone well. Then add sugar and cook until sugar dissolves, now add custard (mix in little bit of cold milk) gradually. When it’s a bit thick, then take it out from cooker and let it cool. Then add fresh fruits in this mixture. Take other pan, put butter, when its melt add fruit cocktail and 1 tbsp of sugar, mix well and take it of from cooker. Now in serving dish, spread fruit mix, then beaten cream, then fruit mix custard, then decorates with fresh cream, banana slices, cherries, chopped dry fruits and silver paper and serve.
