Dum Chops

Mutton chops/ribs – ½ kg
Meat tenderiser – 1 tsp
Garam masala – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Almond – 6
Poppy seeds – 1 tsp
Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Yogurt – 2 cups
Desiccated coconut – 1 tbsp
Nutmeg powder – ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Salt – to taste
Onion – 2 (fried and make paste)
Oil – ½ cup
Green coriander – 1 tbsp


Method:

First of, take chops and ponder them and move all the meat off the bones. Take a grinder and put almond, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, coconut, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, white zeera, nutmeg, salt and ½ cup yogurt and grind all mixture. Now mix the remaining 1 ½ cup yogurt in grinded mixture.
Now take chops and put lemon juice, meat tenderiser, garam masala powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder and mix well, then put grinded mixture and onion paste and mix well, then leave it for at least 2 hours, or, if you want, you can leave it overnight, but don’t put meat tenderiser in. Now take a pot or pan and put oil and heat it up then put chops with all mixture and let it cook for at least 30 minutes or until are chops done. When they are done, take a burned charcoal and put one metal dish or bowl which can fit in the pan, then pour 1 tsp of ghee, butter or oil and cover it. After 5 minutes, open it and remove the charcoal and serve.
