A.R.Rahman will create music for Danny Boyle for this years OlympicsMusic maestro A.R.Rahman and Hollywood director Danny Boyle created history with their blockbuster hit Slumdog Millionaire and now the duo is back again to shake the chords of the audience.

The latest news making its way is that Oscar-Grammy winner A.R.Rahman is going to create music for Danny Boyle for this year’s Olympics. As per the industry sources the music icon will be composing part of the score that the Hollywood director will be using in the 2012 summer Olympics. Earlier, they teamed up in Slumdog Millionaire (2008), the flick created waves all over the globe, post that they united for 127 Hours.

On being quizzed, A.R.Rahman expressed his utmost pleasure and told the sources, “I am doing a track for him for the Olympics. It’s one of the songs for the opening ceremony. It’s a secret.”

Sources further added that both the celebs are very excited on joining hands once again. Boyle’s 2012 London Olympics Opening Ceremony extravaganza Isles of Wonder is inspired with Tempest+Frankenstei. It will showcase a song composed by the music icon, A.R.Rahman. In the opening ceremony of Olympics this year, a composition of Ilaiyaraaja from the 1981 film Ram Lakshman will also be played.
